Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Wayllabamba
We started our journey early by the morning, after collecting all our passengers we head towards Ollantaytambo, where those who wish can have breakfast, then we will continue to the Km 82 Piscacucho (2,700 m.), Where is located the first control center, then begins the trek to Machu Picchu , after about 2 hours of trekking we will arrive to Llaqtapata (2,750 m.) archaeological site of Inca edification which will be explained by our guide , after our visit to this interesting place, we will take a lunch prepared by our experienced cook and his team which insurance will leave you impressed with the food, after lunch we will continue our walk towards our 1st camp called Wayllabamba (3,000 m.). Where after a short break we will take a lunch, then a dinner and stay overnight.
Wayllabamba – Warmiwañusca Pass – Pacaymayo
By the Morning after breakfast we continue the trek, this time we will begin to ascend slightly 9 Km on direction to the passage of Warmiwañusca (4,200 m.) The highest point of the Inca Trail, which is a section with small stairs or terraces which makes it heavier and hard on the legs, we recommended an unhurried pace of each one, without concern that the group abandons us. Once all team members are gathered we will continue, but this time also we will descend by stony stairs; in this section you will appreciate variety of flora endemic of the zone, then we will arrive at our second place to camping called Pacaymayo (3,600 m.), we will have a good dinner and then we will spend the night there.
Pacaymayo – Wiñaywayna
After breakfast we will continue our hike, this stretch is 15 km. full of greenery and quantity of Inca archaeological sites of different functions. The first archaeological site that we will visit will be Runkurakay (3,970 m.) Which is another Inca archaeological complex of towers that has a strategic site, to observe the whole valley, then continue to Chaquicocha where we will take a lunch, then continue to Phuyupatamarka (meaning town or place above the clouds), the route will pass within a carved rock tunnel and continue towards Wiñaywayna, another wonderful complex where we will stay, the tour is 6 hours full of beautiful landscapes and vegetation in Wiñaywayna.
Wiñaywayna – Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu – Cusco
Earlier than usual, after breakfast we continue trekking to Machu Picchu, we will pass the last control and continue to the Inti Punku (Sun Gate) and then to Machu Picchu , we will have a panoramic view of the Inca city of Machu Picchu, then we will have our guided tour, full of history, along with the tour guide, the most important and prominent sites of the sectors of the old Inca City (Agricultural and Religious Sector), then you will have time to take more photos, and explore Archaeological site by your own interest; then we will return to Aguas Calientes where you can take a lunch, and finally go to the train station to return to the village of Ollantaytambo and from there by bus tour to the city of Cusco.

If you are interested to include Huayna Picchu in your visit to Machu Picchu, you must to know that exist new regulations and the permits must to be purchased by forward, the cost of the entrance to Machu Picchu including the climb to Huayna Picchu is USD 70.00 extra, and we must have this confirmed at time of your booking.
