The inca trail by the rain forest (Tour Inca Jungle to Machu Picchu) Is a new route offered to tourists who could not occupy a place in the traditional Inca Trail. For a mixed trip full of adventure with bikes (Inca Jungle) and trekking through the original Inca trail recently discovered and visited. Cusco – Abra Málaga – Santa María: (Cycling and Rafting Opcional)
Pick up from your accommodation between 06:30 am to 07:00 am. We will depart with direction to the Inca´s Sacred Valley where we will appreciate the wonderful village of Chichero possessor of cultural attractives. coming to Ollantaytambo where we will stop for a 30 minutes approximately to get water ,take a breakfast and buy some snacks or go to the hygienic services, continue until reach to the Snowy Mountain ?Abra Malaga?(4,350 m.a.s.l) starting point where begins our descent, we will do 2000 meters with bicycles in 4 hours approximately watching small villages, rivers and fruit fields until to arrive to Huamanmarca (archeological site) we will continue our way to Santa Maria where ends our cycling trip, we will arrive at 3:00 pm approximately.
After a good lunch we will start a new adventure, in this opportunity we will do the river rafting tour( optional) it´s an exciting route of 2 hours approximately on Vilcanota river where we will see beautiful sceneries, and we will find tides of category 2-3-3+ (drought season) becoming an intense and exciting travel accompanied by an safety kayak to bring us the security that we need, the tides of this part of the river are considered one of the best in Cusco, and the warm climate make it an unforgettable travel, finishing the route, the vehicle will be waiting for us to come back to Santa Maria Village where we arrive to Colcapampa, where we will have to ascend during 30 minutes to arrive to Pispitayoc community (1,530 m.a.s.l.) place where the local people will be waiting for us to integrate us to them, to enjoy our first dinner and accommodation.
Pispitayoc – Santa Teresa: (Trekking of 7 hrs approximately)
We will wake up at 6.00 am for enjoy a good breakfast, then we will start a hike by the bank of the river to after do an ascent that will take us 1 hour and a half, walking 650 meters approximately, during the ascent we will pass through a small villages and we will take a rest and refreshing drinks, during the day we will appreciate the flora and fauna of this place and we will see coffee plantations also orange, banana, etc.
One time on the top we will appreciate all the valley of Urubamba and during the hike we will find a part of an original Inca trail, continuing our hike we will arrive to Quellumayu village, where we will take a lunch, then we will continue our path by the bank of the river, passing the bridge that was traversed by train, then we will pass a long way being helped by an cable car made of wood and metal, until to arrive to the Hot Springs of Santa Teresa where we will have a time to enjoy the medicinal properties of these wonderful waters to after go to our accommodation, where we will pass the night and also we will have a special dinner.
Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes: (Trekking)
We will get up at 7:00 to enjoy a good breakfast, during this day we will trek 14 km where we will appreciate the diversity of wild life (flora and fauna) endemic of the zone until arrive to Hydroelectric, where we will take a lunch, then by the afternoon we will continue our walk until reach to the Village of Machu Picchu called «Aguas Calientes», there we will have a dinner and we will pass our last night in the hotel.
Machu Picchu – Cusco: (Trekking and Visit to the Archaeological Center of Macu Picchu)
Around 4:00 am we will get up to go to Inca city of Machu Picchu the trek will take us 1 hour and 40 min approximately by the middle of the jungle for a path that will carry us to the Inca city of Machu Picchu, then we will register at the control of the park, at 6:00 am, we will appreciate the sunrise, then we will continue the visit inside the Inca city accompanied by our guide who will share us his knowledge for 2 hours approximately to know the great history of this place, there is much we can learn about this wonderful place, after guidance of Machu Picchu we will have free time to explore the archaeological center by our own interest. if you want to climb the Huayna Picchu, we recommend you check the availability before your booking, because they only admit 400 people for day, the round trip will take you 1 hour and a half approximately but you will be rewarded by a wonderful view from the top, is important to note that the stairs are dangerous and you must to be careful, ending the visit you have to return to Aguas Calientes to take the touristic train ( Departure time 6:45 p.m) to Ollantaytambo, then we will carry you in a touristic bus to Cusco city arriving at 10:30 p.m. approximately and it will be the end of our tour.
