Cusco – Cachorra – Cocamasana- Rosalina beach
Early morning departure from Cusco bound for Cachora. Breakfast and meeting with the carriers who carry luggage, after a two – hour walk will be in Capuliyoc (2910m.) This point is a breathtaking view of the valley Apuriac (God Speaker), the snowy Padriyoc and Wayna Cachorra, then descend Coca Masana (2235M.) where it begins to change dramatically the climate and flora and fauna of the area. Finally arrival at Playa Rosalina (1540 m.) Where we spend the night.
Rosalina beach – Choquequirao
Early in the morning after an energizing breakfast the ascent begins with approximately 5 hours Rayanpata alongside the River Chunchullymayo place of rest and lunch. Along the way many varieties of orchids and types of birds, Rayanpata to Choquequirao is observed (3035m.) Are two – hour walk, getting to Choquequirao (Cradle of Gold) time to appreciate the sunset and some condors fly. Camp.
Choquewquirao – Rayampata – Chiquisca – Cocamasana
A brief visit to the archaeological site and then we continue the descent to the Apurimac River (God Speaker) break, after lunch starts rise approximately 4 hours to Coca Masana camp.
Cocamasana – Cachora – Cusco
This is the last day of hiking, you will appreciate the canyon that forms the Apurimac River then take a path that crosses the gorge of the canyon with a spectacular view of Waynaqally, grabbing the barrel considered one of the most spectacular in South America. Finally we arrive to Cachora and take our private bus back to Cusco.
