The four-days Inca Trail is one of the most famous hikings in the world. In this route there is a spectacular mixture of the Inka ruins situated in a mountainous landscape and the cloudy and mysteriuos forest. It has been counted over 260 species of orchids in Machu Picchu, as well as numerous  waterfowls and the  impressively majestic presence of the  Andean condor, who seems to reign from the heights over the animal wild life.
This trek is estimated a moderate one and any person reasonably have to be able to cover the route.
Salkantay with Inka Trail to Machupicchu

This special route, which mixes the typical Andean landscapes and the old Inca paths, offers marvellous views and the experiences on the picturesque and mystic Andean world. Less concurred than the popular Inca Trail, along the route we can appreciate a progression of diversed ecological peaks, tropical sites and glacial summits, to get to Machu Picchu, the lost Inca city.

Choquequirao Trek

Choquequirao city is a new archaeological discovery which is regarded as the last Inca refuge, which resisted by decades the Spanish conquest. It is located at the top of the Apurimac river, in a strategic zone between the Andean mountains and the forest' s eyebrow. At present, only Choquequirao, which stands for only a twenty per cent from all the citadel can be appreciated.
Ausangate trek

(The sacred mountain of the Incas)
This snow-capped mountain is located in the south east from the Cusco city, from which this snowy giant can be appreciated. This is one of the reasons because it was worshipped by the Incas, who regarded it as an Apu, or tutelar divinity. On its slopes the biggest religious pilgramage of the Andean world takes place, the so called peregrination of the Qoyllority's Lord.

The term Vilcabamba means sacred valley, and it's composed from two words: Huilco, meaning sacred or god, and Bamba, meaning valley, hence, valley of god or sacred valley. The name belongs to the Inca dialect called Quechua. This trek to the last Inca's outpost, at the end of  "the road going nowhere" is a unique experience.
Lares Valley

This is a rather strenuous hike through the jungle and the andean vegetation. You' ll visit many archaelogical sites, like Lucma, Rosaspata, Nusta Hispana and villages such as Yupanca, Cosevidayoc and Vilcabamba, in order to end up in the ruins from the lost city of Espiritu Pampa, ( Pampa's Gosht ).

Pongo de Maynique

The Pongo de Mainique is a 50 yards wide and two miles long canyon, through which flows the mighty and sacred Urubamba River. The Pongo of Mainique is a magnificent site of natural beautifulness, deep in the jungle of Cusco.
The word pongo means gorge, or ravine, where the river bursts through the mountains.
Hatun Q'eros

(The living Inkas)
The Q’eros are still the guardians of an extremely rich Inka cultural tradition.
The Q’eros are a Quechua-speaking people who lives in several small clustery villages on the mountains from south-central Peru at altitudes ranging up to 16,000 feet above sea level.
Aided by these high altitudes  which kept them away from civilization, the Q’eros lived in relative isolation from external influence until approximately the year 1950.
Sibinaq'ocha Lake

(The lake over the world)
This area from the  Peruvian Andes stands out because of its charming beauty and the folklore from its people who preserves  the traditions of their ancestors as if time is kept standing still..
Being a llama and alpaca country, its traditional beauty is enhanced by these peculiar mammalians belonging to the camel and dromedary group, which can be seen along the trek. These paths are from a  very high altitude wich passes over 48000 meters above sea level.
This route continues around the Sibinaq'ocha lagoon..
