Sibinaq'ocha lake (the wonderful turquoise waters )
(7D/6N)
SIBINAQ'OCHA  Lagoon .
This witchy lagoon of  turquoise colour is located in the  Canchis province in the Eastern region of the Cusco, to the South of the Ausangate Mountain range over  4.842 M.A.S.L.
This lagoon is surrounded by impressing  snow-capped  Mountains that pour its  defrostings in these waters that will flow over the Vilcanota River. We'll need seven thrilling days to enjoy from  its  enchantment.

DAY 1 CUSCO-TINKI.-

We depart from Cusco in our private bus towards  Ocongate, where we will stop for lunch and then to Tinqui (trailhead) located at the foot of the Vilcanota's mountain range. Driving through the beautiful high plateau. we will spend the night at Tinki (3800m.).

DAY 2 TINKI - Q'OMERQ'OCHA.-

We will start the hike, ascending a not very sheer path through rolling hills dotted with herds of llamas and alpacas. The massif Ausangate (6450m.) dominates the skyline. After 4 ½ hrs. we have lunch at Pacchanta, (tipycal highland hamlet) then get along ascending to the campsite at Qomercocha (Green lagoon) (4,570 m).

DAY 3: Q'OMERQ'OCHA – PACCHASPATA.-

We'll walk following the uphill path toward Pacchaspata Pass (5,050 m). The trail follows a moraine above a glacier flowing down from the snowpeaks eastwards of our route. On most of the treks we see vicuñas, llamas and alpacas. Continuing downwards the valley, a new view opens up  the south face of the massif Ausangate. We continue descending to the campsite next to the hamlet of Quillita (4,400m.).

DAY 4: PACCHASPATA - SIBINAQ'OCHA.-

We climb to reach the next mountain pass called  the Condor Pass (5,100 m) and then we cross a highland plateau to reach the head of the Sibinacocha, a big andean glacial lake.
We can see big birds like the huallatas (Andean geese), Andean ducks and flamingos at  the shore.
We spend the night here.

DAY 5: SIBINAQ'OCHA- CCASCCAMAQ'OCHA.-

We hike surrounding the head of the lake towards Ccascamacocha, a tipycal highland valley dominated by a small lake with a fascinating concentration of high altitude Andean birds.
The Ccasccamaq'ocha inhabitants have herds of alpacas and llamas.

DAY 6: CCASCCAMAQ'OCHA-CERRO YAYAMARI .-

Easy day trekking towards the Yayamari snow-capped mountain (5,500m. high),which is an option of yours. The climbers can enjoy the spectacular view of the landscape with the highland plateau, the lakes and the glaciated summits.
