We'll explore the old capital of the
Incas,

Cusco, with
its impressive
archaeological
site of Sacsayhuaman, the beautiful
Inca's
Sacred
Valley, the fascinating
archaeological
sites in Pisaq and Ollantaytambo,
and the enigmatic lost city of the
Incas : The legendary
Machupicchu.

Day 1: LIMA.-
Reception in the Lima airport and transfer to your hotel. Tour in the afternoon, visiting the most historically important places in the City of Lima: The monumental and viceroyshiping centre, with its cathedral,
the main square (Plaza de Armas), the Goverment Palace, the ,Arzobispal palace, the Municipality, the Monumental group from the San Francisco Convent, other beautiful cloisters and the gloomy catacombs. Later, you'll get along through the residential and commercial neighborhoods, ending up finally with a
panoramic view along the Pacific Ocean and the sandy and rocky beaches from the elegant town of Miraflores.

Day 2: LIMA - PARACAS.-
Continental breakfast; later, free time in the morning in order to visit the Inca artisan market in Miraflores. At 12:30
P.M., transfer from your hotel to the bus station, departing at 13:30 o'clock via the Panamericana Sur (schedule is subjected to changes).. Arrival to the Paracas city and accommodation in your hotel.

Day 3: PARACAS - NAZCA.-
Continental breakfast. Transfer from your hotel heading for the Paracas bay to embark upon the tour towards the Ballestas Islands where we will find one of the greatest concentrations on flora and marine fauna; later, we'll appreciate the enigmatic Candelabro (candelabrum), belonging to the famous Nazca's Lines. Later, transfer from the hotel to the bus station to set off towards the city of Nazca.
Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Day 4: NAZCA - LIMA.-
Very early in the morning before the breakast we'll take a flight over the Lines of Nazca for about 45 minutes. On a discovering flight over the Nazca's desert, we'll get aware about one of the big mysteries in the human history which has given rise to many scientific speculations, and even ficticious theories and mystic explanations, all of them pretending to explain the origin and purpose from these lines. Flying is the appropriate way to watch and admire the giganticly amazing figures such as are the spider, the hummingbird, the
monkey and the fish among others, as well as the extensive geometrical lines of astonishing precision. The purposes of the Nazca's lines and the techniques
that were applied for their exact design are unfinished debates among scholars. This flight over the seemingly lunar landscape is with no doubt, an unforgettable experience that stimulates questioning thoughts about the beliefs and geniuses of the pre-inca cultures.

Day 5: LIMA - AREQUIPA.-
Continental breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to the airport to get a plane to the Arequipa city. Arriving we'll have a reception and transfer to your hotel. On the afternoon, a tour through the city, which includes the Main Square, the cathedral, the cloisters and the Church of
the Company, the San Agustín's Church and the Santa Catalina's Monastery.

Day 6. AREQUIPA - CAÑÓN DEL COLCA.-
After having breakfast we'll leave at 08:30 A.M. heading for the Colca Canyon,
where we'll arrive getting through the Pampas Cañahuas (natural reservation of vicuñas). Along the tour we'll get until 4,000 m.a.s.l. Arrival at 15:00 pm. approximately to the city of Chivay. Accommodation in a hostal with private bathroom. Visit
to the Calera hot springs (the entrance is not included).

Day 7. COLCA CANYON - AREQUIPA.-
Continental breakfast. at 06:30 am., then we have to leave towards the Cruz del Condor, the point where the Canyon has
its deepest profundity, and we will see condors (vultur gryphus) flying along the canyon's walls in the midst from its natural habitat. We'll get along visiting
some of the fourteen towns surrouding this natural wonder. We will visit Llonque and Macca, admiring the lavishly decorated colonial churches, and the painted caves. We'll also visit the Sabancaya Volcano, at a moment in which is active. Returning to the city of Chivay. In the afternoon, returning to the city of Arequipa.

Day 8. AREQUIPA–CUSCO.-
Continental breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to the airport to get a plane towards Cusco city. Arrival and reception in the airport and transfer to your hotel. Then, free morning to get climatized for the altitude (3400m.a.s.l). In the afternoon, tour through the city in which we'll know The
Cathedral, a colonial church from incredible dimensions and astonishing craft profusely and lavishly ornate made out of precious metals, amazingly wooden carved and a variety from imposing geometrical stones; the soberly precious church from the Company of Jesus, the Santo Domingo convent and the ruins that surround the city such as the impressive strength from the Sacsayhuaman fortress; Puca-Pucara, and along
the Inca roads, Kenko, and Tambomachay (sanctuary of the water).
Return to the city of Cusco.

Day 9. CUSCO - MACHU PICCHU .-
Continental breakfast. Transfer to the San Pedro train station, from where we'll set off towards
"Machu-Picchu, " the Lost City of the Incas. Arrival to Aguas Calientes and transfer to the ruins by bus. Guided tour through Machupicchu. Transfer to Aguas Calientes.

Day 10. MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO.-
Continental breakfast. Free morning in order to visit the lost city of the Incas again (not
included), and so the Huayna Picchu, or to make additional tours. In the afternoon we'll leave Aguas Calientes heading for the Cusco city. Arrival and transfer to tour hotel.

Day 11. CUSCO - PUNO.-
Continental breakfast. Transfer to the bus station to set off towards the city of Puno.
Lunch by the route (box lunch). During the trip we will visit the Andahuaylillas town and the archaeological site of Rachni. Finally, we'll visit Sicuani. arriving approximately at 18:00 o'clock. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 12 PUNO - FULL DAY AT TAQUILE - PUNO.-
Continental breakfast. At 07:3 AM. transfer from your hotel to the port for having a tour by boat during two hours on the highest Lake in the world: the Titicaca Lake (Natural Reserve), located at 3,827 M A. S. L. We will stop on the Uro's floating islands, unique in the world, where the natives live in houses made of a material called totora, which grows on the lake
and serves like food for their livestock and other mammalians belonging to the camel group. These islands serve as an
establishment for the Uro's community, a particular ethnic group considered the oldest in Southamerica. The islanders tell that one of their pecular handmaking are mattresses alike carpets made of the totora plant. At
noon we set off towards the Taquile island. Nowadays, the inhabitants from this
island continue living according to their ancestral customs. A serpentine path of aligned stones leads us to the town. Later, you can do a guided exploration around the island. About 14:00 pm. will come back to the city of Puno. Approximate arrival between 16:00 and
17:00 hrs. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 13 PUNO - LIMA.-
Continental breakfast. Then, visit to Sillustani,. 34 km. away from puno , heading to the north- west, located at 3,915 M. A. S. L.. Arriving to the penisla of Sillustani that belongs to the Umayo lagoon, after 45 minutes run driving through an asphalted highway that links the cities of Puno and Juliaca, we'll finally get at the Sillustani necropolis, that is to say, a cemetery which is regarded as the biggest in America,
with a series of impressing tombs called chullpas belonging to the Kolla culture. These tombs, where the collas, or the chosen women for religious rites were buried, along with other important people, have a particular shape which conjures up enormous inverted towers, measuring an avarage of twelve meters high. Around the Umayo Lagoon, we'll see vicuñas and other Andean animals. We'll be visiting this place
about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Then, transfer to the airport.

DAY 14: PUNO - LIMA.-
In the morning, transfer to the Juliaca airport to aboard the flight heading for Lima. On the way to the airport we'll visit the famous Chullpas of Sillustani, cylindrical mausoleums
used by the aymara Indians to bury the high priests. The Umayo lagoon, located oposite
to the Chullpas, where you'll have the opportunity to observe
different typical birds. Then, transfer to the airport to aboard the plane
going to Lima.
