The perfect trip to know closely two towns that have a lot to offer. We will begin our trip
in Lima, the city of the kings, and we will learn
about culture and history.
Then
heading
for the old
and perpetual City
of Cusco,
we'll
get at the fascinating archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman and the beautiful Sacred
Valley of the Incas
along
which
we'll
visit
the
impressing archaeological
sites
from Pisaq and
Ollantaytambo,
and the
unforgettable Machu picchu,
the enigmatic lost city of the
Incas.

We'll navigate
on the Titikaka
lake, the
highest
above the
sea level in
the world, with
its famous floating islands,
along with
the Amantani
and the Taquile, spending one night with
the native people. We'll cross the frontier into
the Bolivian territory.
We'll visit
La Paz where
will admire
its typical
handmaking market,
the colonial
church from
San
Francisco, the medical
sorcerer's market,
the Square Murillo where
there are
the Government's Palace,
the Cathedral and the National Congress;
later we'll
meet Jaen
where there
are four interesting museums,
getting
along outdoors
heading for
the culture's
museun from Tiwanaku .

Day 1: LIMA.-
Reception in the Jorge Chávez international airport and transfer to the chosen hotel.
|

|
|
Day 2:LIMA.-
After having breakfast, we'll visit the capital Lima and its beautifully colonial main square, the Cathedral, the Government's Palace and the San Francisco's
convent. You will enjoy from its attractive beaches, the intense commercial movement and the exciting nightly life. Also, the romantic Park of Love which provides you a nice view to the Pacific Ocean. And of course, you'll have the chance to taste a typical and delicious lunch or a Chinese one, according to your
election.. Later, we'll get along with a visit to one of the most interesting museums from the city : the - Museum of the Gold.
Returning to your hotel.

Day 3: LIMA - CUSCO.-
After having breakfast, transfer to the airport to take a flight to the
city of Cusco where there will be a bus waiting in order to lead us to the chosen hotel. Free morning in order to get climatized. By the afternoon, organized visit to the
city where we'll know the Cathedral, the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), the typically peculiar streets, then we'll go into arqueologycal sites located at 20 minutes from cusco city such as Sacsayhuamàn, Q´enqo, Puca-pucarà and Tambomachay.

Day4: CUSCO - PISAC OLLANTAYTAMBO-CUSCO.-
After having breakfast. we'll go into the Inca's Sacred Valley. You will have the
opportunity to visit the handmaking typically picturesque market of Pisac town where you'll appreciate and acquire Peruvian craft to low prices.
Every sunday, the little square of this town is jouyful and colured because of the attendance of ethnic groups belonging to the different communities that surround the town, among which the Varayocs, are the representative and eminent men for each quechua community.. Then we'll visit the archaeological park of Ollantaytambo,located at 97Kms away from Cusco. Finally, returning to the Cusco city.

Day 5 CUSCO - MACHU PICCHU.-
After having breakfast, we'll be going to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu, at 2,350 m.a.s.l. Transfer from your hotel to the train station heading for Aguas Calientes; then we'll take a bus towards the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu, where you will have a guided tour along its squares, temples, platforms, ceremonial enclosures and its royal site, the amazing ¨Inti-Watana¨ ( the Solar Clock ), and so, a succession of pure water sources worked in
rock.

Day 6 MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO.-
After having breakfast, free day. We suggest you return to the citadel of Machu Picchu. In the afternoon,
returning to the city of Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

Day 7:CUSCO - PUNO.-
After the breakfast. transfer to the bus station to set off towards the city
of Puno. Arriving at Puno, reception in the bus station and transfer to your chosen hotel.

Day 8: UROS ISLAND - CHULLPAS DE SILLUSTANI.-
After having breakfast, we'll get by boat at the Uro's islands, which are famous
for its peculiar manufacture in totora, a plant that grows in the Titi-Caca lake, the highest lake of the world. The Uros ethnia is descendant of one of the oldest towns in America.
They are devoted mainly to hunting and fishing. By the afternoon, we'll get at the archaeological site of Sillustani, located 34 Km. away from the city of Puno, 4,000 m.a.s.l.
The Chullpas are gigantic funeral monuments that conform a necropolis which was built by the Collas, a pre-inca culture. This kind of cemetary is located on an
esplanade skirted by the beautiful Umayo lagoon. These squary and
circular constructions overpass the 12 meters high.

Day 9: PUNO - LA PAZ.-
After having a very early breakfast, about 06:30 in the morning, a bus will take us from your hotel to the city of La Paz, accompanied by an experienced guide who will be with you throughout the trip, visiting typical towns such as July, Pomata, Yunguyo-Casani and the Copacabana's cathedral in its picturesque main square. Then, we'll take a boat navigating on the Titikaka Lake, till visiting the Isla del Sol.

Day 10:LA PAZ.-
After having breakfast, we'll have a tour to the ruins of Tiwanaku, which was an important Pre-Colombian archaeological site in Bolivia, recognized by Andean scholars as one of the most important precursos to the Inca Empire, flourishing as the ritual and administrative
capital of a major state power for approximately five hundred years. These ruins are about 72 k.m. (44 miles) west of La Paz. In fact, it is
considered as The Cradle of the American Civilization.
These pre-Inca ruins gave origin to endless archaeological debates about its antiquity. One of the last studies with the Carbon 14 have demonstrated a 1580 years-old of antiquity

Day 12:LA PAZ.-
After breakfast, you will visit the city of La Paz, in which you'll know its typical handmaking
market, the San Francisco's colonial church, the medical sorcerer's market, the Murillo Square, where is located the Government's Palace, the Cathedral and the National Congress. You'll also visit Jaen, where there are four interesting
museums, getting along with the Tiwanaku culture museum. You will continue the tour towards the
residential areas of Obrajes, Calocoto and the Florida. Later, you'll visit the Valley of the moon.
At night, we suggest you to enjoy a folkloric show which will display the colourful typical dances.

Day 12:LA PAZ.-
After having breakfast, by the afternoon you'll be transfered from your hotel to the airport.
