June 22th - Lima / Cusco
- City Tour.- (Arrival
to Cusco.).-
Reception and transfer
to your
hotel.
We
advise you
to take a break
in order
to get climatized.
In the
afternoon you
will have a
guided tour throughout
the old Cusco City,
visiting the Main
Square, the Cathedral
and the Temple of the
Sun "Korikancha".
Afterwards,
the
tour will
continue outside
the City visiting
archaeological
places such
as Kenko, Tambomachay,
Puca Pucara,
and the impressive Sacsayhuaman's
fortress, which
was
built
strategically on a hill,
from which the
city of Cusco could be
watched entirely. This
stronghold,
famous
for its big carved
stones assembled with an
astonishing precision,
some of which
measure more than 09
meters height and
weight
more than 350 tons,
is an
incredible show
for your
eyes.
June 23th - Sacred
Valley of the Incas -
Cusco.-
Guided tour to the
Incas' Sacred Valley.
We will first
visit
along
the Incas' sacred
river,
the archaelogical site
from Pisac
and its traditional market;
then we will visit Ollantaytambo.
This bulwark was
built with a
corn-shaped
and
astonishing Inca
skilfulness.On
returning to Cusco
we will enter to the
typical Chinchero town,
where
the
Royal Túpac Inca Yupanqui's
City is located.
Here you
will admire the
preserved Inca Wall in
the main square and then
will
visit
the lavishly
decorated
colonial church, built
over the
Inca's foundations.
Now,
returning to the city of
Cusco you'll
can see it along
with
the snowy
background
from the mountains
just
before the
arrival, an spectacle
which
will make from
your
trip a dreamlike
experience.
Finally,
a satisfied return to
your hotel
in
Cusco.
June 24th - Inti Raymi -
Cusco.- Very
early in the
morning
we will enjoy a
re-animating breakfast.
Afterwards,
we'lll go
into the Sacsayhuaman
fortress (exactly at 03
km. from Cusco City. Box
lunch ) in order to
admire the Inti Raymi
festival.
June 25th - Cusco -
Machu Picchu.-
After having
breakfast we'll
go on
towards
the train station
heading for
Aguas Calientes.
Then
will take the bus
that will carry
us in a
twenty
minutes trip,
through an
upwards and
serpentine path
to
the impressive Machu
Picchu citadel.
The trip includes a
tour guide in the
Citadel, visiting the
Main Square, the
Circular Tower, the
Sacred Solar Clock, the
real rooms, the temple
of the Three Windows and
the cemeteries.
There will be
available
time to go for a walk
around
the citadel. On
the
afternoon, will
return by
train to Cusco City.
Finally, a transfer to
your hotel.

26th - Cusco / Lima.-
Transfer
to the
Cusco airport.
